Muira Puama

  Muira Puama (ptychpetalum olacoides) is an extract from the root of a tree, Liriosma, that grows in the rain forests of Brazil. The Portugese name, El Raiz del Macho (the root of the male), is perhaps a fair indication of the reputation this tree has for it's aphrodisiac effects.
